7.14 - Tennessee Walker

A "Tennessee Walker" show us its trademark "Big Lick" gait

Today I spotted this young man exercising one of the "Tennessee Walkers" at Chris and Debbie Fulcher's "Red Fox Stables" in nearby Merritt, NC, just outside of Oriental.

The huge stable building would dwarf many of the largest Southern Plantation Manor Homes... I'll try to get another view in a posting next week.
